1. I saw the Lord standing by the altar. And He said, Strike the capital of the door, and the thresholds will shake; and cut them off on the head of all of them. And I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them who flees will flee, and not a fugitive of them will escape.

2. And if they dig through into Sheol, from there My hand will take them. And if they go up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down.

3. And if they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there. And if they hide from My eyes in the bottom of the sea, from there I will command the serpent, and he will bite them.

4. And if they go into exile before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. And I will set My eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

5. And the Lord Jehovah of Hosts is He who touches the earth so that it melts, and all dwelling in it shall mourn. And all of it will rise up like the Nile, and sink down like the Nile of Egypt.

6. It is He who builds His staircase in the heavens, and His firmament He has founded, binding the heavens over the earth; He who calls for the seawaters and pours them out on the face of the earth, Jehovah is His name.

7. Are you not like the sons of the Ethiopians to Me, O sons of Israel? declares Jehovah. Have I not brought Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

7. Are ye H859 not H3808 as children H1121 of the Ethiopians H3569 unto me , O children H1121 of Israel H3478 ? saith H5002 the LORD H3068 . Have not H3808 I brought up H5927 H853 Israel H3478 out of the land H4480 H776 of Egypt H4714 ? and the Philistines H6430 from Caphtor H4480 H3731 , and the Syrians H758 from Kir H4480 H7024 ?

8. Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth; only that I will not completely destroy the house of Jacob, declares Jehovah.

Behold H2009 , the eyes H5869 of the Lord H136 GOD H3069 are upon the sinful H2400 kingdom H4467 , and I will destroy H8045 it from off H4480 H5921 the face H6440 of the earth H127 ; saving H657 that H3588 I will not H3808 utterly destroy H8045 H8045 H853 the house H1004 of Jacob H3290 , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 .

9. For, behold, I will command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, as one shakes with a sieve; yet not a grain shall fall to the ground.

10. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, those who say, The evil shall not draw near or confront us.

10. All H3605 the sinners H2400 of my people H5971 shall die H4191 by the sword H2719 , which say H559 , The evil H7451 shall not H3808 overtake H5066 nor prevent H6923 H1157 us.

11. In that day I will raise up the booth of David that has fallen, and I will wall up its breaks. And I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as the days of old;

12. so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations on whom My name is called, declares Jehovah who is doing this.

13. Behold, the days are coming, declares Jehovah, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who draws along seed. And the mountains shall drop new must, and all the hills will be dissolved.

Behold H2009 , the days H3117 come H935 , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 , that the plowman H2790 shall overtake H5066 the reaper H7114 , and the treader H1869 of grapes H6025 him that soweth H4900 seed H2233 ; and the mountains H2022 shall drop H5197 sweet wine H6071 , and all H3605 the hills H1389 shall melt H4127 .

14. And I will bring back the captivity of My people Israel. And they shall build the waste cities, and live in them. And they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine of them. They shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

15. And I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be pulled up out of their land which I have given to them, says Jehovah your God.
