1. In the beginning God made from nothing the heavens and the earth.	1. In the beginning ^H7225 God ^H430 created ^H1254 ^H853 the heaven ^H8064 and the earth ^H776 .
2. The earth was an empty waste and darkness was over the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was moving over the top of the waters.	2. And the earth ^H776 was ^H1961 without form ^H8414 , and void ^H922 ; and darkness ^H2822 was upon ^H5921 the face ^H6440 of the deep ^H8415 . And the Spirit ^H7307 of God ^H430 moved ^H7363 upon ^H5921 the face ^H6440 of the waters ^H4325 .
3. Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.	3. And God ^H430 said ^H559 , Let there be ^H1961 light ^H216 : and there was ^H1961 light ^H216 .
4. God saw that the light was good. He divided the light from the darkness.	4. *And God ^H430 saw ^H7200 ^H853 the light ^H216 , that ^H3588 it was* good ^H2896 : and God ^H430 divided ^H914 ^H996 the light ^H216 from ^H996 the darkness ^H2822 .**
5. Then God called the light day, and He called the darkness night. There was evening and there was morning, one day.	5. 6. Then God said, "Let there be an open space between the waters. Let it divide waters from waters."	6. And God ^H430 said ^H559 , Let there be ^H1961 a firmament ^H7549 in the midst ^H8432 of the waters ^H4325 , and let ^H1961 it divide ^H914 ^H996 the waters ^H4325 from the waters ^H4325 .
7. God made the open space, and divided the waters under the open space from the waters above the open space. And it was so.	7. 9. Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered into one place. Let the dry land be seen." And it was so.	9. 10. Then God called the dry land Earth. He called the gathering of the waters Seas. And God saw that it was good.	10. 11. Then God said, "Let plants grow from the earth, plants that have seeds. Let fruit trees grow on the earth that bring their kind of fruit with their own seeds." And it was so.	11. 12. Plants grew out of the earth, giving their own kind of seeds. Trees grew with their fruit, and their kind of seeds. And God saw that it was good.	12. 14. Then God said, "Let there be lights in the open space of the heavens to divide day from night. Let them tell the days and years and times of the year.	14. 16. Then God made the two great lights, the brighter light to rule the day, and the smaller light to rule the night. He made the stars also.	16. 17. God put them in the open space of the heavens to give light on the earth,	17. And God ^H430 set ^H5414 them in the firmament ^H7549 of the heaven ^H8064 to give light ^H215 upon ^H5921 the earth ^H776 ,
18. to rule the day and the night. He divided the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.	18. And to rule ^H4910 over the day ^H3117 and over the night ^H3915 , and to divide ^H914 ^H996 the light ^H216 from ^H996 the darkness ^H2822 : and God ^H430 saw ^H7200 that ^H3588 it was good ^H2896 .

20. Then God said, "Let the waters be full of living things. Let birds fly above the earth in the open space of the heavens."	20. And God ^H430 said ^H559 , Let the waters ^H4325 bring forth abundantly ^H8317 the moving creature ^H8318 that hath life ^H5315 ^H2416 , and fowl ^H5775 that may fly ^H5774 above ^H5921 the earth ^H776 in ^H5921 the open ^H6440 firmament ^H7549 of heaven ^H8064 .
21. God made the big animals that live in the sea, and every living thing that moves through the waters by its kind, and every winged bird after its kind. And God saw that it was good.	21. 22. God wanted good to come to them, saying, "Give birth to many. Grow in number. Fill the waters in the seas. Let birds grow in number on the earth."	22. And God ^H430 blessed ^H1288 them, saying ^H559 , Be fruitful ^H6509 , and multiply ^H7235 , and fill ^H4390 ^H853 the waters ^H4325 in the seas ^H3220 , and let fowl ^H5775 multiply ^H7235 in the earth ^H776 .
23. There was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.	23. And the evening ^H6153 and the morning ^H1242 were ^H1961 the fifth ^H2549 day ^H3117 .
24. Then God said, "Let the earth bring into being living things after their kind: Cattle and things that move upon the ground, and wild animals of the earth after their kind." And it was so.	24. And God ^H430 said ^H559 , Let the earth ^H776 bring forth ^H3318 the living ^H2416 creature ^H5315 after his kind ^H4327 , cattle ^H929 , and creeping thing ^H7431 , and beast ^H2416 of the earth ^H776 after his kind ^H4327 : and it was ^H1961 so ^H3651 .
25. Then God made the wild animals of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that moves upon the ground after its kind. And God saw that it was good.	25. 26. Then God said, "Let Us make man like Us and let him be head over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every thing that moves on the ground."	26. And God ^H430 said ^H559 , Let us make ^H6213 man ^H120 in our image ^H6754 , after our likeness ^H1823 : and let them have dominion ^H7287 over the fish ^H1710 of the sea ^H3220 , and over the fowl ^H5775 of the air ^H8064 , and over the cattle ^H929 , and over all ^H3605 the earth ^H776 , and over every ^H3605 creeping thing ^H7431 that creepeth ^H7430 upon ^H5921 the earth ^H776 .
27. And God made man in His own likeness. In the likeness of God He made him. He made both male and female.	27. *So God ^H430 created ^H1254 ^H853 man ^H120 in his own* image ^H6754 , in the image ^H6754 of God ^H430 created ^H1254 he him; male ^H2145 and female ^H5347 created ^H1254 he them.**
28. And God wanted good to come to them, saying, "Give birth to many. Grow in number. Fill the earth and rule over it. Rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."	28. 30. I have given every green plant for food to every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to every thing that moves on the earth that has life." And it was so.	30. 31. God saw all that He had made and it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.	31. And God ^H430 saw ^H7200 ^H853 every thing ^H3605 that ^H834 he had made ^H6213 , and, behold ^H2009 , it was very ^H3966 good ^H2896 . And the evening ^H6153 and the morning ^H1242 were ^H1961 the sixth ^H8345 day ^H3117 .
