1. Why H4100 do the heathen H1471 rage H7283 , and the people H3816 imagine H1897 a vain thing H7385 ?

2. יִתְיַצְּבוּ H3320 VTY3MP ׀ CPUN מַלְכֵי H4428 CMP ־ CPUN אֶרֶץ H776 GFS וְרוֹזְנִים H7336 W-VQPMP נֽוֹסְדוּ H3245 VNQ3MP ־ CPUN יָחַד H3162 ADV עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS וְעַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN מְשִׁיחֽוֹ H4899 JMS-3MS ׃ EPUN

2. The kings H4428 of the earth H776 set themselves H3320 , and the rulers H7336 take counsel H3245 together H3162 , against H5921 the LORD H3068 , and against H5921 his anointed H4899 , saying ,

3. נְֽנַתְּקָה H5423 VPY1CP אֶת H853 PART ־ CPUN מֽוֹסְרוֹתֵימוֹ H4147 CFP-3MP וְנַשְׁלִיכָה H7993 W-VHI1MP מִמֶּנּוּ H4480 M-PREP-3MS עֲבֹתֵֽימוֹ H5688 CMP-3MP ׃ EPUN

3. Let us break their bands asunder H5423 H853 H4147 , and cast away H7993 their cords H5688 from H4480 us.

4. יוֹשֵׁב H3427 VQPMS בַּשָּׁמַיִם H8064 BD-NMP יִשְׂחָק H7832 VQY3MS אֲדֹנָי H136 EDS יִלְעַג H3932 VQY3MS ־ CPUN לָֽמוֹ LM-PPRO-3MS ׃ EPUN

4. He that sitteth H3427 in the heavens H8064 shall laugh H7832 : the Lord H136 shall have them in derision H3932 .

5. אָז H227 ADV יְדַבֵּר H1696 VPY3MS אֵלֵימוֹ H413 PREP-3MP בְאַפּוֹ H639 וּֽבַחֲרוֹנוֹ H2740 יְבַהֲלֵֽמוֹ H926 ׃ EPUN

5. Then H227 shall he speak H1696 unto H413 them in his wrath H639 , and vex H926 them in his sore displeasure H2740 .

6. וַאֲנִי H589 W-PPRO-1MS נָסַכְתִּי H5258 מַלְכִּי H4428 עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN צִיּוֹן H6726 הַר H2022 CMS ־ CPUN קָדְשִֽׁי H6944 ׃ EPUN

6. Yet have I H589 set H5258 my king H4428 upon H5921 my holy H6944 hill H2022 of Zion H6726 .

7. I will declare H5608 H413 the decree H2706 : the LORD H3068 hath said H559 unto H413 me, Thou H859 art my Son H1121 ; this day H3117 have I H589 begotten H3205 thee.

8. שְׁאַל H7592 VQI2MS מִמֶּנִּי H4480 M-PREP-1MS וְאֶתְּנָה H5414 גוֹיִם H1471 NMP נַחֲלָתֶךָ H5159 וַאֲחֻזָּתְךָ H272 אַפְסֵי H657 ־ CPUN אָֽרֶץ H776 GFS ׃ EPUN

8. Ask H7592 of H4480 me , and I shall give H5414 thee the heathen H1471 for thine inheritance H5159 , and the uttermost parts H657 of the earth H776 for thy possession H272 .

9. תְּרֹעֵם H7489 בְּשֵׁבֶט H7626 בַּרְזֶל H1270 NMS כִּכְלִי H3627 יוֹצֵר H3335 תְּנַפְּצֵֽם H5310 ׃ EPUN

9. Thou shalt break H7489 them with a rod H7626 of iron H1270 ; thou shalt dash them in pieces H5310 like a potter H3335 's vessel H3627 .

10. וְעַתָּה H6258 W-ADV מְלָכִים H4428 NMP הַשְׂכִּילוּ H7919 הִוָּסְרוּ H3256 שֹׁפְטֵי H8199 אָֽרֶץ H776 GFS ׃ EPUN

10. Be wise H7919 now H6258 therefore , O ye kings H4428 : be instructed H3256 , ye judges H8199 of the earth H776 .

11. עִבְדוּ H5647 אֶת H853 PART ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS בְּיִרְאָה H3374 וְגִילוּ H1523 בִּרְעָדָֽה H7461 ׃ EPUN

11. Serve H5647 H853 the LORD H3068 with fear H3374 , and rejoice H1523 with trembling H7461 .
|

12. נַשְּׁקוּ H5401 ־ CPUN בַר H1248 פֶּן H6435 CONJ ־ CPUN יֶאֱנַף H599 ׀ CPUN וְתֹאבְדוּ H6 דֶרֶךְ H1870 כִּֽי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN יִבְעַר H1197 כִּמְעַט H4592 K-AMS אַפּוֹ H639 CMS-3MS אַשְׁרֵי H835 CMP כָּל H3605 NMS ־ CPUN חוֹסֵי H2620 בֽוֹ B-PPRO-3MS ׃ EPUN

12. Kiss H5401 the Son H1248 , lest H6435 he be angry H599 , and ye perish H6 from the way H1870 , when H3588 his wrath H639 is kindled H1197 but a little H4592 . Blessed H835 are all H3605 they that put their trust H2620 in him.
